One of the questions I’m often asked is how I build a wedding playlist. The short answer?

After decades of DJing weddings and events, I don’t arrive with a “press play” list. I arrive with experience, instinct, and a note of your likes, dislikes, and must-play songs.
The music sheet you receive when you book me is incredibly important, it tells me your taste, your vibe, and the tracks that truly matter to you.
These become my priority songs, carefully woven into the night at exactly the right moments.
If you’ve listed lots of songs, I’ll often ask you to star your absolute favourites so I know which ones are non-negotiable must-plays. That way, nothing important gets missed.
From there, the playlist is created in real time! I’m watching the room, reading the energy, noticing who’s dancing, who’s just joined the floor, and what the crowd is responding to.
